You boys are one of the best bands I have ever heard-And I'm not just saying that;; I Literally sat there with my eye completely closed and let your music take over my body;; The drums were my heart beat;; The guitar was my blood stream;; And the vocals were my voice;; Tears ran down my face listening to "Fore"- It brought back all the good and bad times and made me realize what i have and what I have given up is all I really need;; After that I listened to "Run"- It took me back to the times and memories I only dremnt of when I was a young girl in a broken home;; A place were I could take the people I truly cared about;; And truly loved;; A place were nothing could hert any of us anymore;; You took me back to the one place I could be myself;; And soon forgot about when other things had gotten away;; I thank you;; deeply from the bottom-inside-and-outside of me for giving me back that feeling I had forgotten;;

"Hazleton-based band wins competition"

Between the Two, a Hazleton-based band, won a recent battle of the bands and a spot performing on Purple Door Festival's main stage.

Between the Two will play at the Purple Door, held in Lewisberry, on Aug. 17 at 5:45 pm.

In recent months, Between the Two signed booking and management contracts with Nashville-based Bridge Street Artist Agency and Through the Looking Glass Entertainment. Between the Two is set to start a six-week national tour on Aug. 23 to promote the release of their new album, "The Depths of You."

Their album, set for release on Aug. 18 will set a new standard for unsigned artists trying to make an impact, one review on their Web site says.

Between the Two hits Purple Door Festival

Hazleton band, Between the Two, were crowned champion of a recent battle of the bands for a spot performing on The Purple Door Festival's main stage. The Christian music festival, held in Lewisberry, PA this Friday, Aug. 17 at 5:45 pm, began in 1996 and draws about 10,000 people each year. This year's festival will also include Norma Jean, Relient K, Anberlin and many others. The melodic Between the Two - which formed in 2003 and is made up of Brendan Gerhart, Tim Gregory, Tim Jenkins, Joe Acor, and Brooke Gerhart - recently signed booking and management contracts with Nashville-based Bridge Street Artist Agency and Through the Looking Glass Entertainment and will begin a six-week national tour Aug. 23 to promote "The Depths of You," which is scheduled to drop Aug. 18. - The Weekender (Wilkes-Barre, PA) 8/15/07
