Bio
As a young child, I was exposed to all types of music and took lessons in Royal Conservatory until I picked up a guitar at 17.
I was already writing poetry and the two forces merged into songwriting/composition/lyrics. I was heavily influenced by the classical music I studied and heard as a youth. Also, The Beatles and the British Invasion as well as Canadian and American talent, including Crosby, Stills, Nash and Neil Young, The Doobies, The Dillards, Kansas, Uriah Heep, Steely Dan, Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels, Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons, New Riders, Buffalo Springfield, and the music of Gordie Berry and Co.
