I have co-written 5 songs on the cd Amazed by Grace, an indie project by Ashley Woodard, Soaring Ministries. Have co-written a Christmas song with Ashley and we are working on several new songs for an upcoming indie cd she is recording and producing.

Bio
My current influence in song writing comes from listening to Winter Songs. Over my lifetime I have been under the influence of a wide range of artists from Elvis to James Taylor to Paul Simon to Elton John and Benny Taupin to Ginny Owens, Jennifer Knapp and Nichole Nordman. I love every kind of music and the stories woven into the fibers of an artist song. My songs are written from the pain, the joy, and the memories of life with the winds of the hopes for the future blowing over and around them. Most of my songs (lyrics) are cowritten with Ashley Woodard (music). I get the words and send them to her and if they resonate with her heart, the music comes and she brings forth the song from both of our efforts. The Soaring Band is amazing when it comes to taking a new song and breathing life into it with drums, guitars and keyboard. I am always undone by the end result. I trust Ashley with my words and have never been disappointed with the final product.
