Bev Perron has been singing professionally since the age of 17. It was then when she learned the difference between just singing and performing. Her father was her biggest influence in the blues. He was a musician himself in Chicago, playing the sax on the weekends on Maxwell Street in Chicago, he told her once, "Playing on the street was one thing...Performing on the street was the ticket"
Over the years Bev Perron 'schooled' herself into what has now become her 'ticket'. With that in mind, she searched for the right musicians that can feel the music and act on it on the stage. It's not just a gig....it's a show.
The seasoned group of professionals that make up Bev Perron and The Boogie Band have traveled the world in pursuit of their craft. Collectively they have shared the stage and supported great artists’ as B.B. King, Elmore James Jr. Steve Ditzel, Debbie Davies, Anthony Gomes, Buddy Guy, Holle Maxwell, Eddie Burke, and many more. These experiences enable Bev Perron and The Boogie Band to rocket a crowd to it’s feet in a frenzy, then cradle them with subtlety and finesse.
With the new energy Bev Perron and The Boogie Band injects into Blues and R-n-B, they are guaranteed to thrill crowds and staff alike.
