Beware! The Leopard

Beware! The Leopard

Indie folk with a jazz twist. Think Owen Pallett, or Andrew Bird without the violin and with jazz drums.

Labelled as “prowling, brooding and mischievous” by Emma Wilson, London UK music promoter, Beware! The Leopard is pouncing on the public consciousness in Canada. With the driving riffs and atmospheric effects of Alex Leger’s guitar/keys and vocals, underpinned by the fiery energy and wide textural palette of Mark Segger on drums, the Toronto based duo creates an emotional experience for the audience, covering ground from singer-songwriter to indie rock to creative ambient soundscapes.

Cli-Che - EP released December 2009, currently streaming on Jango,, and on our website.
