Beyond Me, a popular Birmingham-based hard rock band, is proud to announce its reemergence after a year-long hiatus. After several months of troubled times, robberies, and lineup changes, the band is back, lead by founding guitarist Alex Holbert and drummer Jarred Darby. With a stronger lineup of musicians and an intensified passion for creating new, cutting edge, music, the band will begin performing live once again by early fall of 2009.
Featuring Zach Andrews as lead singer, Cole Chadam on rhythm guitar and Brad Timko playing bass, the band is building upon its past success. In addition to being showcased on the Miller Lite Stage for three consecutive years at City Stages, Beyond Me has performed at several of Birmingham’s leading and most popular music venues including The Nick, The Barking Kudu, Zydeco and WorkPlay. Additionally, they have impressed crowds in cities such as Nashville, Atlanta, Huntsville, Mobile, Montgomery and Jackson, Mississippi.
As successful as the band was with its former members, the reincarnation of Beyond Me has an improved sound with more dynamic songwriting and an amped-up live show that entertains the toughest music critics. Beyond Me is all about their fans and creating the best music possible.
