I've been playing music all of my life. I started on the piano at 3 or 4 years old and started classical lessons at age 6. I picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and haven't put it down since. Music has been an outlet for my feelings and emotions. Having had a hard childhood it was my escape. I started writing songs around 12 years old. I wasn't serious about music as a career due to getting hung up in the drug scene. I would have months of being clean and that's when I played out in local clubs and open mic nights. I always got a great reception. I've been sober for 8 years now and decided it's time to pursue my passion, music. I love writing lyrics and music and do it every day. This year I'm going back to college and majoring in music. I am not your typical band. I play solo and from the heart. I just finished a CD called "Letting Go" and starting on a new journey of music that I write. My writing and music will be about the present instead of the past which is why I named my last CD "Letting GO". I hope to be able to perform my music for people and write lyrics for other musicians.
