B. Geoffrey Wood

The son of a pastor, B. Geoffrey Wood has felt a call to ministry, even as a young teen. Inspired by the works of various artists and genres such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Creed, Shane and Shane, Jars of Clay, Leeland, and David Crowder, B. Geoffery Wood seeks to write music that can touch the very heart of God.

In his own words:
"For years, I wrestled with what I was going to do with my life. I'm primarily a drummer, and have been since I was nine years old. You can imagine my confusion when I felt the call to pick up a guitar and sing, being that I had tried to learn guitar in the past, and failed miserably. For example, I couldn't remember any chords (even the easy ones!) for the life of me, no matter how many times I practiced. Nothing stuck! Ugh!

However, I heard the call, and I tried again after buying a guitar. (Risky, I know!)

There was no going back. I had all of the standard chords memorized and relatively fluent within that first week, and I had a dozen new songs including lyrics within two months. I'm not trying to say I'm some sort of prodigy (I'm far from it!), but rather my songs are not solely my own. I can only attribute such a crazy turn-around to God's graceful fingerprints, being that I failed miserably on my own. My mission is not to just put on a good show, but rather to be a part of an experience that makes us look inwardly to see who we really are compared to who God really is. If even just one of us can walk away from a concert with a deeper concept of God, then I have done my job."
