Bio

Bianca is an anointed singer and songwriter. She was born in North Carolina to James and Linda Woodard. Bianca grew up in New Life Church of God in Christ in Augusta Georgia, where the Pastors are Apostle Claude and Prophetess Regina Harris. She sang in the RT Harris youth choir and later in the CL Harris Gospel Choir.
Currently she serves in ministry as a member of the praise team "Genesis" and as an assistant director of the CL Harris Gospel Choir under Minister Claude L. Harris Jr.

Bianca ministered and directed her college gospel choir at Georgia Southern University and later became a part of a gospel ensemble, Restored. Restored recorded their first CD, "Cleanse My Heart", in 1999 and it was released in Atlanta Georgia. During her tenure with Restored, she appeared with the ensemble at the 1999 Radio Announcer's Convention in Atlanta, on Candi Staton's "Say Yes" on TBN, and at the Joshua Joint at Sweet Holy Spirit (Bishop Larry Trotter) in Chicago Illinois. Candi Staton made a guest appearance on one of the singles, "Changed", which was co-written by Bianca and Timothy Fryar. Restored opened for several of Gospel music's finest such as Tonex, Vickie Winans, Kirk Franklin, and John P. Kee, just to name a few. The ensemble went on to be nominated for an Atlanta Gospel Choice Award for Best New Group in 1999.

Bianca embarked upon a solo career in 2002. She recorded a single entitled "You Have His Word" with Livin it Productions. "Music in the Air", is scheduled for release in 2005 with Livin It Productions at the helm. All songs were written and arranged by Bianca except for "Music In the Air" and "Have It All", which were composed by C-Note of Livin It Productions.

Bianca has also worked in community theatre. She served as a pit singer during the Augusta Mini Theatre's presentation of "The Wiz". She also starred as a doo-wop girl in the Augusta Players presentation of "Little Shop of Horrors". More recently, she served as a pit singer during Russell Joel Brown's "Mozart to Motown Christmas" show at the Imperial Theatre in Augusta Georgia. Bianca has also lended her talent to sing in local commercials.

Bianca's influences include but are not limited to the following people: Pastor Regina T. Harris (First Lady Edition) cause nobody can take you into the presence of God like she can.., Vanessa Bell Armstrong (Peace Be Still) because she was the first artist she ever listened to and Maurette Brown Clark (How I Feel)..you can feel her heart and soul in her music... She can't forget about the jazz greats Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitzgerald. India Arie is too smooth and her lyrics are so thoughtful. Other favorites include Nora Jones, Faith Evans, Natalie Wilson, Dorinda Clark Cole, Kim Rutherford, and CeCe Winans.

The Album:
Bianca is truly a multifaceted artist and her properly titled project, "Music in the Air" proves that point. The title cut prepares you for a journey into the world of God's music..."Have it All" features C-Note of Livin It Productions and keeps your head bobbin'but she doesn't ignore her roots of the COGIC on this project with her single "All that I Need". She makes a pit stop at gospel-crunk music on "Already Know". She touches on the classic christian ballad on "Others Lord" and she reaches back to the older generation on "We Overcome". A hint of jazz can be felt on "Righteousness of God" and she takes you straight to a praise service on "Praise the Lord". Just when you thought it was over, she comes back with a smooth interlude "Give U" and touches your heart with adoration for Jesus on "All About U".
