Biblical is a cultural singjay who's part of the up-and-coming Oneness Sound/Higher Bound Productions collective from Northern California, whose output in 2007 includes albums from Sista Kat, Ishence (who produced this album), and a collaboration with Midnite, Bless Go Roun, that will certainly help put their names on the tips of reggae fans' tongues. Also helping is the high quality of Inborn Precepts, Biblical's debut, a triumphant album that should find favor with fans of Midnite in particular. Biblical's vocal delivery has a striking, Vaughn Benjamin-like flow, more rhythmic than melodic, with a chanting feel. Ishence's music is likewise in line with Midnite's low-key, occasionally hip-hop-inclined roots, and even the spelling on titles like "Let Luv In," "Eyez Can See," and "Bee Worthy" smack of Midnite's influence. This isn't to say that Biblical is some sort of Benjamin clone, however; his voice itself is quite different -- something more akin to Soldiers of Jah Army -- and he makes a statement as an artist in his own right with the wonderful material here. Tunes like "Jah Works," "Let Luv In," "Deliver the Poor," and "Eyez Can See" are funky, rootsy, righteous, and sincere and are hopefully a sign of things to come from Oneness Sound/Higher Bound. Out of Grass Valley, CA comes forth some of the hardest modern roots music you'll hear. Biblical from the Oneness family represents strong on this debut album produced by Ishence. Heavy basslines and hard drums characterize the production while intense and heartfelt lyrics penetrate the mind.

Biblical Bio
Biblical, a cultural chanter/sing jay whose unique style has been catching the ears of many, was raised in northern California with a strong foundation in reggae music. As a cultural sing jay, Biblical embodies the fullness of a singer while blending chanting and poetic lyrics into one unique style. He has been performing for live audiences over the past ten years all over the Northwest.
Biblical brings an empowering stage presence, with outstanding visionary lyrics and a driving original style. His highly anticipated debut album "Inborn Precepts" was released in June 2007 on the Higherbound Productions label to great praise. His vocal delivery is strikingly unique with chanting rhythmic verses and melodic choruses. Songs like Jah is My Light and Let Luv in are uplifting, lyrically penetrating and catchy. Jah Works, the opening song of the album, suggests the vision deep within the roots and message of the music.
Biblicals next two albums, "Live By Your Strength" and "Jah Infinite" were released in the summer of 2008. Teaming up with different producers and labels makes each new work a unique experience for the listening ear. Biblical is also featured on a number of reggae compilations released in 2007/2008, New Name/Higherbound, Gather the Remnant / AndrewBassie / ConsciousRiddimsrecords.
Live in concert, Biblical captures the hearts of many with his rootsy energy, and righteous vibrations. His lyrics carry you on a journey of up fullness, reflection, and creation, while the riddims penetrate from start to finish. 2009 brought the release of "Healing Stream" Biblicals fourth album, on the Trinitly Farm Label. With many more musical projects on the horizon, Biblical released his fifth album "Naturally" in 2010, on the Natural Order Music label, a very unique production with some hard and heavy hip hop beats. In 2011, a next album was released titled "Fullfilament", a collaborative works with Groundbreaking records, Trinity Farm, and Rally Up productions. This project features works created over a four year period with some of the first riddims ever produced by Biblical and Trinity Farm Music. 2012 yielded the album "Aya Time" Biblical & Million 7, featuring magnificent instrumentation and live horns with vocals and lyrics straight to the head and heart, simply a must have.
