Bio

Formed in Toronto, Canada during the spring of 2010, BIBLICAL is the sound of mountains splitting and oceans parting.

Uniting members of The Illuminati, The Bicycles and Steamboat, BIBLICAL delivers crushing riffs drenched in cinematic atmosphere. Their fierce live show has earned festival and touring slots with top artists such as KYUSS, DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979, THE SWORD, RED FANG, TORCHE, THE NIGHT MARCHERS, FUCKED UP and HOWLIN RAIN.

In 2011 they released a self-titled EP that delighted rock fans with a blast of tense garage metal steeped in minor-key twang and sludgy organ-soaked breakdowns. POP MATTERS called the release a grand debut while stoner aficionados THE OBELISK praised the bands sound, noting BIBLICALs swagger is definitely their own.

But that was just preview of the epic jams to come. In March 2014, NEW DAMAGE RECORDS will release BIBLICALs debut LP: MONSOON SEASON. Lauded by PITCHFORK as a climactic, Red Sea-parting surge of narcotic guitar MONSOON SEASON is a thunderous opus of haunted psychedelia. While punishingly heavy, the album is cloaked in texture and dynamics, casting aside the tropes of hard rock in favour of atmosphere, tension and palpable dread.
