Bidwell

Bidwell is an Alternative Pop-Rock band from Sacramento, CA. Over the past 2 years they have developed a great deal of momentum through touring and online promotion. Bidwell has been a part of 3 national headlining tours with a total of 8 months on the road in the last yr, covering 20 states which included 18 Warped dates & have been on the road since mid-Jan. through the end of March so far in 2009. They're drawing 300 paid in Sacramento & on average 100 paid in at least 25 other markets. The band is currently listed #4 in CA on Myspace Unsigned/ Alt & #10 Unsigned/ Pop Charts along with #17 in the USA on Myspace Unsigned/ Alt & #44 Unsigned/ Pop Charts. They were in Alternative Press April "100 Bands You Need To Know In 2009" issue which hit stores March. 3rd. They've sold 5,000 physical copies & 3,000 digital downloads of their entirely self produced, recorded, mixed EP which was released March 2008. Three tracks from this EP are being featured in a new Rumer Willis / Rob Schneider movie "Wild Cherry".

In December 2008, Bidwell recorded 4 new tracks they recorded with Ian Kirkpatrick of ZenSeven Productions (Plain White T's, Gillmor, Vogue In The Movement, Call The Cops, The Jakes, Stacy Clark). This recording lead them to a marketing deal with Myspace Records which allows the band front page features on the Myspace home & music pages along with featured tour spots, featured music video spots and an aggressive banner campaign. The band is currently at home writing and demoing some new songs while getting ready for a busy summer.
