"Young G'z: Big Whiskey"

North Carolina’s own Big Whiskey caught up with Mechanical Dummy to give us a inside look at how he got his start in hip hop, who he looks up to and what we can expect from him coming up. "NEW ARTIST: Big Whiskey ft. Kush Kelz - Scottie Pippen"

Here’s a new song from North Carolina MC, Big Whiskey featuring Kush Kelz called Scottie Pippen. Sampling the classic Misdemeanor by Foster Sylvers, which was used in The D.O.C.’s It’s Funky Enough and reworking the classic hook, Big Whiskey has a certified banger. Scottie Pippen will be featured on Big Whiskey’s upcoming album Asleep At The Wheel. - TheMusicStash.com

"Big Whiskey - "Jeanyus""

The one and only Big Whiskey is back with a track called, “Jeanyus.” If you ask us, the North Carolina MC is doing pretty good as far as Young G’z go. This is the latest installment of #WhiskWednesdays. - MechanicalDummy.com

"Video: Big Whiskey – You Already Know"

Big Whiskey is a friend of mine (we do sort of look alike, large guff white men with facial hair) that hails out of Burlington, NC. He has released his latest video to the world for the song “You Already Know”. This song is a summer banger in the way that M.O.P. rocks. Hard hitting drums and horns and Whiskey filling with punches galore. Everybody’s Favorite Drunk Cousin comes with a video that has simplistic visuals, though they get the job done. The song is one to ride to in the car and let the speakers bang. Demario Street produced the track and Manny Mac directed the video. The gorgeous girl lounging around everywhere is sure to entice attention.

Whiskey and his crew have formed the Morgue Muzik label and have gotten their studio JML Studios up and running with releases scheduled to close out 2013 and start off right into 2014. You can stream Whiskey’s “That Hard Chill” mixtape below and make sure to follow him on Twitter. - PoisonousPlanet.com

"Big Whiskey-Black Out"

When you come to consciousness somewhere other than your bed, without any memory of what you did to get there, odds are the answer’s not going to be anything good. Booth newcomer Big Whiskey is the exception to the rule; on his latest single and first feature, the North Carolina rhymesayer boasts of his tendency to Black Out in the booth, and wake up to realize he’s just spit a killer verse. Jaemix mans the boards, layering atmospheric synths over a mellow, yet driving rhythm section as the artist showcases his talent for spitting straight from the subconscious. DJBooth faves King Mez and Shane Eli, along with newcomer Teknique, showcase their own talent for free-association on the guest tip. For Black Out and much more, check out That Hard Chill when it drops digitally on Saturday, the 24th. - DjBooth.net
