Bigbake

With the ability to make classic “Hip-Hop” and stereotypical “Rap” music, Bigbake will draw the attention of any hip-hop/ rap audience that he is performing in front of. Born and raised in Saginaw, MI, he has had an array of experiences that include, but are not limited to urban a.k.a. “Hood” life as well as issues that can affect any community. Hip-Hop classic, “Hustlin” featuring Wiz Khalifa, gives a glimpse of Bigbake’s views.
“Work” is the digital single that Bigbake is pushing. Produced by DJ Big L (of Rock Island, IL), “Work” is an energy filled urban hit that will motivate EVERYONE. “All I Do Is Work, Work, Work, Work” (quoted his hit single), is a representation of what Bigbake was actually doing, (…and still is). The video for “Work” will be dropping September 30th. Bigbake is currently working on a hip-hop venture called “The Anthology.” It is a collaboration of music with beats by M80, a highly skilled hip-hop artist and producer from Saginaw, MI. With features from M80 and Tony Tigerstyle, “The Anthology” is a classic in the making.
Bigbake has performed in numerous venues across the U.S. and has opened for national recording artists such as T.I., Lil Flip and D12. With two solo CD’s, a mixtape, and multiple digital singles, Bigbake plans to release a few more projects as well as develop and release Smokngunz Records artists. He feels that in order to lead someone down the music path, he has to have traveled that same road so that he can guide artists in the right direction.
Bigbake is the C.E.O. and Co-Founder of Smokngunz Records. Smokngunz Records was formed in 2000 by the three original group members: Bigbake, Wood District & Smoke Digga, in the barracks of 2/44 ADA, Ft. Campbell, KY.
Bigbake’s musical influences are: Twista, Jay-Z, and Kanye West just to name a few. He loves how his music career is progressing. He often refers to a quote from Jay-Z when referring to his musical career, “I’m not a businessman, I’m a BUSINESS MANNN.”
