Bio
Big Brothers was founded in 2010 by drummer Leslie Camping, who had the idea of forming a rockband with his two younger brothers Serge and Ferdy and his friend Goya, with whom he had played earlier in a school band (Imperator).
The first songs they covered, were Handle With Care (Travellin' Willbury's) and Green Onions (Booker T. & The MG's). Next they added Foxy Lady (J. Hendrix) and My Generation (The Who) to the setlist.
While rehearsing My Generation, they noticed that Ferdy almost could play the bass solo. (FYI, he then was 8 years old.)
A few months later, songs as Apache (The Shadows), Hey Joe (J. Hendrix), The Stealer (The Free) and Cocaine (J.J. Cale) were added.
While performing, the band noticed that they are liked by people who have lived through the Sixties themselves, as well as by kids who have never heard of any of these songs.
Big Brothers love to play music from the 60's / 70's.
To get an authentic sound, they preferably use vintage instruments and amplifiers.
Besides school activities, they want to perform as much as they can.
