Bio
Mesa, Nick and Matt met at the University of Maine, Orono, where they all studied classical music as well as pursued jazz and contemporary projects. After graduating, the three musicians went their separate ways, travelling, working, continuing school and music. In the summer of 2012, Mesa Nick and Matt reunited to evolve the group Big Charlie's Rubber Band and began performing and recording in the NYC/southern CT area.
With their classical training as a foundation, and their intuitive musicality, the musicians of Big Charlie's seamlessly blend elegant technique with rock solid rhythm and laid back grooves. Now based in Nashville, TN Big Charlie's Rubber Band is excited to share their unique sound with the Music City.
