Lyrics

You Won't Be The Last

Written By: Mark Blume

She said, I don't ever want to feel this way again
She said, I don't ever want to fall in love again
Throw away those empty letters
Chalk them up as bad memories
Burn your bridge just to build it higher
All it takes is time

Just wait you'll get your chance
Don't stop it's like romance
Just throw it on your shoulder and run
Don't try to find someone
'cause they'll find you
(they'll find you)

5am and she says that she will never sleep again
Wide awake and she says that she will never dream again
Throw away those empy letters
Chalk them up as bad memories
Burn your bridge just to build it higher
Have some faith in time

She's the one, she sees the good in everyone
How could this happen to me?
She said
Perhaps we never loved at all
but she still writes his name
she still calls his name

Head North Turn Left

Written By: Mark Blume

Will things be the same
if I move half the world away?
We'll float all through the night
and hope to meet somewhere in between
The sunshine will give every story
a bright side. Another happy ending.
On the west coast
you'll never need a raincoat
daydreaming's what we're doing out here

Will your stars shine the same
on your side of half the world away
Wish upon a moonlit sky
that I will be back again someday
The night life
a temporary escape
but you'll do right
and I will do the same
On the west coast
you'll never need a winter coat
waiting's what I'm doing out here.

Every story has an end
but I prefer to begin again
It's like a book I've never read
I prefer to begin again.
