This Is Easy (Unreleased)

Since the recent resurgence of West Coast Rap/Hip Hop, many artists are labeled as gangsta, hyphy, or even backpack-ish, but Easy offers a new light to an often monotonous industry. Self characterized as an alternative rapper, Easy say's he didn't fit with the established categories and available labels, professing that he "really just knows how to bust". A true jack of all trades, while rapping across states including Cali, Georgia, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Easy achieved his Master's Degree in Social Work @ Cal State East Bay.
Being one of the originators of the "Hyphy" movement with his contributions to the underground smash hit "Hyphy!" (a mixtape take on "Icy" by Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy) in 2005, Easy has been captivating audiences for many years now. The product of a single-parent household, the lure of the street was enough for Easy to attain numerous convictions across state lines, mostly related to drugs. While most rappers talk about hustling, Easy has the credibility of someone who's dun dun duh dun dun done it all!
Easy's style consists of a vivid, picturesque, often energetic, call rapers out type of flavor as seen on hits such as "You're no good" (Garbage Bags;2005) and the new bange "Finer Things (This Is Easy;2011). Furthermore, his distaste for flossing stunner rappers and materialistic women- yet somewhat paradoxically coupled with an appetite for wealth and marajuana- Big Easy is a welcomed alternative to the fake skateboard bling bling pow pow bullshit . With a prominent scar over his left temple and a presence strong enough to garner attention from rap legends Too Short, Casual, Dru Down, and DJ Toure', it seems as if Oakland has a new worldwide representative.
