Bio
Big House Radio is an original rock n roll band with a crowd pleasing groove and pop sensibilities. They draw their influences from Skynard to Sinatra. Their debut album Daylight has been selling very quickly to new audiences around the southeast. With their audience ranging from ages 25-55, Big House Radio appeals to a very large audience of rock, southern, and classic rock fans.
Big House Radio got their start in the fall of 2008 when members of two defunct bands talked about getting together and doing a Halloween show covering the album Ten by Pearl Jam. The show went so well that they felt it was necessary to play out more. Unnamed at the time they immediately started writing music. With each member of the band having 10 or more years experience playing live and/or writing music, the chemistry came very natural. Since their inception Big House Radio has been wowing audiences in Western North Carolina. In June of 2010 BHR won the battle of the bands at the Orange Peel in Asheville, NC to play at Bele Chere, Asheville's premier music festival.
Big House Radio writes all their own music based on their life, good times, and influences. They have one main focus, bring rock n roll music back to life.
