Bio
We are a group of guys that love music. With training in a variety of styles, from jazz and classical to more contemporary stuff, we work hard to create new music that appeals to us.
Having known each other for a number of years, Big in China only because a band in the fall of 2007. Previously we had all met in the Eastern Townships, where a couple of us are from, and where all of us had studied at some point under the music department of Bishop's University. Now we still regularly leave the city for the countryside where we can be loud. We have really worked on our communication as a band, and each member brings his own particular energy and talent.
Matt's mellow voice comes across with honesty and feeling. The enthusiastic Dan brings a real element of fun with catchy melodies on the mandolin. Gavin delivers groovy bass lines that get the energy going and compliments Mike’s drumming which is full of life.
