Bio
Big Lu (born Luscious Alexander on June 16, 1971) is a rap artist who started his career in his hometown of Memphis, TN in the neighborhood of Ridge Grove. Beginning in the first grade with poetry and later other rap artist such as Run DMC, Eric B & Rakim inspired him to start writing lyrics. Big Lu was signed by Mr. Freeman of 720 Entertainment in 2006. He is currently featured on the compilation CD "Mr. Freeman Presents 720". Lyrically when Big Lu has the ladies on his mind he has a smooth yet precise Mac Daddy flow. When addressing called MC's, Big Lu's lyrical flow is rough as sand paper, and sharp as a razor. Big Lu's main inspirations are derived from life's struggles of up's and down's, pains and sorrows and his experiences with successes and losses.
With an obvious lyrical foundation in "true" hip hop and an articulate and vast range of story telling skills, Big Lu promises to bring something refreshing and interesting to the realm of music.
