Theres been hit rap singles and albums before him, but Big Mini is the man who is truly bringing rap music to a mass pop and soul audience. Big Mini is a native of Kentucky, born and raised. He comes from a strong religious family. As a teen in high school he was a long fan of funk and soul, he became interested in hip-hop and began performing in local clubs; with friends and family members. He also started his own record label and recorded a couple of popular local singles, with a group call Central Elements, Big Mini later went on to become a solo artist and recorded an album titled No Tricks. After impressing a record company executive with his already elaborate live show, he was signed to Riverdale Records a Yonkers, New York based independent record label.

Big Mini took all of his experiences and combined them and created the genre (Rap Hip Hop Soul). The main ingredient is all about being positive and speaking about everyday life. Big Mini believes that if we could look past our own faults and one another the world would and can be a better place.

Big Mini has poured out his heart and soul into every song, knowing that he has had his struggles in life and he knows that someone else has too.
