"Page on the Rise"

He is young, he is talented and he hustles hard to bring his music to life. Smoke and Mirrors presents BIG PAGE’s new mixtape “Things Young People Do” (TYPD) the most anticipated mixtape of the year; including hard hitting lyrical content most young people can relate. After receiving major credibility for his single “I’m Still Fly” featuring Canadian artist Drake, Page has gained massive respect and is recognized for creating the best Canadian hip hop anthem. He also gained momentum from his first single called “Balling is my Hobby”.
When speaking to Page he was excited about this upcoming mixtape because he had more creative control on the project. TYPD is expected to be credible for its lyrics, production, and features. The mixtape includes notable artists such as Bobby Valentino, Keri Hilson, Snoop Dogg, Trina, Slick Rick, Drake and a few other guest appearances. TYPD has been discussed on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter because people are excited to hear more hit songs from Page. Fans don’t have to worry because this mixtape will be immaculate and worth the anticipated wait.
This summer Page has been working at steady pace. He released a video for “See What I See” from TYPD. The end of the video displays his old self (a confused street thug) confronting an image of his new self (a hard working aspiring rapper). Many young people can also relate to this story because many of us struggle with a ‘coming of age’ and identity. This summer Page has also utilized his time traveling to Atlanta and Miami to work in the studios alongside Poe Boy entertainments own “Brisco”. He was featured on “Briscos” single titled “Surrounded by Killers”. He will be sealing the summer at Toronto’s Guvernment night club on Sept 25th performing alongside Miami’s own Gangsta Girl “Trina”. Since we are on the topic of “gangsta” be sure to listen for Pages upcoming single featuring Bobby Valentino called “Gangsta Girl”. The summer was very progressive for the young MC and his future is expected to be beyond progressive.
Page is an artist in a league of his own. He knows where he is coming from and he is aware of where he wants his career to carry him. His music is real and listeners can relate to him because he re-lives his life thru his music. Page uses the art of discipline by staying late nights and long days in the studio until his music is crafted to his satisfaction. He travels from Europe to the U.S to work with producers and artists to bring his music to perfection. This is an artist who strives to work hard so that he sees results in his music and hears excellence from his fans.

"Page teams up with Miamis' Brisco"

Toronto’s own Smoke and Mirrors records’ has recently teamed up with Miami’s biggest entertainment company Poe Boy Entertainment. While working in Miami on his mixtape titled “Things Young People Do”, Page was featured on Poe Boy artist Brisco’s new track called “Surrounded by Killers”. Both artists are not strange to the street life, because both were introduced to the lifestyle during their youth. The collaboration expresses their street mental from two different cultural settings on one street credible track. The song can be heard on http://www.myspace.com/pagesmokeandmirrors.
Brisco is also signed under Cash Money Records and has gained a credible name for himself south of the boarder. He has been featured on tracks with Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Flo Rida and DJ Khaled. His is currently working on his new mixtape ‘Street Medicine’. Page is also putting the finishing touches on his anticipated mixtape “Things Young People Do”. Both artists are big names on their labels and are destined to reign for the upcoming year.

"Sudbury Shows BigPag Big Love"

The year has been a busy one for Canadian rapper BIGPAGE. As he begins to put the final touches on his anticipated mixtape 'Things Young People Do', and prepares to fly out to Bahrain on November 10th to showcase a three hour concert, he was also in high demand in Sudbury this past Tuesday at the Sudbury Arena. Many of us wouldn't consider the people of Sudbury to be familiar with hip hop, however being the largest city in Ontario, it was well aware of Hip Hop and Page's rising Career.
When Page emerged on stage he received unlimited amounts of love from the 2500 people in attendance. They became ecstatic when he threw posters to the crowd and the entire arena was heard singing to his latest number 1 track "I'm still Fly" as well as "Ballin' is my Hobbie". Page also performed a few songs from "Things Young People Do" and from the crowds reaction, the mixtape will definitely be highly credible. Ludacris' management had even taken the time to congratulate Page on his rising success.
The concert was simply the beginning of the feast of events in Sudbury. Both fans of Page and Ludacris crowded the after-party at Ten Lounge where there was absolutely nothing but fresh vibes flowing through-out the club. The energy was so high giving Page the motion to grab the mic and deliver another wild performance for the ladies. Although Sudbury isn't recognized on the map, they still appreciate hip hop and rising star Page.
