Bio
Mike Pelz, a.k.a. "Big Pelz" (to differentiate him from brothers Matt "Little" Pelz and Mark "Middle" Pelz), plays a lot of guitar. So much so that his wife continually threatens to break his prized Taylor over his head (luckily, she has yet to follow through on this threat). The result is one hell of a talented and unique player of the six-string. Not having time to dedicate to forming and perfecting a new band (he's married, after all), he concentrates on filling the room with as much sound as possible from a single instrument: "I don't want not having accompaniment to be a handicap - it needs to be an asset". Think Keller Williams, but with lyrics that stem from being the class clown who married a philosophy major and you've got Mike "Big" Pelz.
The class clown part is true, mostly (Mike Pelz was voted by his senior class as "1997 Class Clown Runner-Up). He's still got it, and it comes through vividly with original crowd favorites such as Piss and Grins, Sexually Charged, and Southern Belle.
