Bio

...he was born Scott Al-Tall, to an American mother of Irish/German descent and a Jordanian father who disappeared from his life when he was 6 weeks old. One of four children, he grew up on the move. At age 15, after living in more than ten different states, the family settled in Wichita, Kansas.
...at 13 he joined his first gang; by 16 he was doing time in maximum-security prison, the result of a gang related robbery/high speed chase gone bad. While in prison, he began writing-...mostly dark, depressing, violent poetry.
....after being released from prison and expelled from school for fighting, he joined a boxing club. He fought for a while in the tough man competitions, under the name of Mr. Bilistic.
...he spent two years at the University of Kansas studying philosophy and languages, before quitting to do the music full time. While there (in his own words), he gained a large vocabulary... and the ability to bend and shape words and sentences, in ways I never imagined.
...he values knowledge, affection and family. He hates doing dirt to survive, doing TIME for doing dirt to survive... and being alone.
...his motto is: If you dont like the cards you were dealt, get off your ass and reshuffle the deck.
...among the artists he most admires are Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Bubba Sparxxx, Haystak, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Alanis Morisette, The Doors, The Grateful Dead and Lynard Skynyrd.
...he's sold over 20,000 copies of his previously released albums Oppressed No Longer and You Aint Ready, among them at live shows; hes opened for Nelly, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Cypress Hill, Ja Rule, Ashante, Jagged Edge, Naughty by Nature, Lil J and Tech 9, to name a few. As a headliner, he's attracted crowds as large as 7,000 people, at top venues in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Denver, Kansan City, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Chicago, Miami, Memphis and other major markets.
...his singles have aired –some in heavy rotation on radio stations throughout Kansas, Wyoming, Colorodo, Nevada and Washington State. Two of his tracks, Why do we Cry? and Stop Playin, were each the most requested song on Casper's KISS 104.7 for over eight consecutive weeks.
...he is featured on both of DJ Legacys Heatwave mixtapes and on Bukshots They Still Dont Love Me LP, along with underground heavyweights Bubba Sparxxx, Haystak and Jazze Pha, among others.
...he headlined the mtvU 2006 Spring Break Celebration hosted by DJ Legacy.
...his latest New Life Records release, Talent Defender, is slated for a spring 08 drop. On it he joins forces with such talented up-and comers as producer Michael Seven Summers (Juvenile), r&b singer Bri-J and the rapper MYNORiTY .
