Love Song

Written By: Bill Champitto

When the night is done, I don’t need to roam
‘cause I have your heart, it keeps me safe & warm
Keeps me safe and warm

When I gave you half, you gave me back a whole
And you never stopped, proving love could grow
Proving love could grow

You’re the part of me, I never thought I’d see
I believe in you

Like the clear blue sky, as far as I can see
And the summer rain, your love pours down on me
Your love pours down on me
You pour your love on me
Oh, you set me free
I believe in you…

Circles

Written By: Bill Champitto

In search of places far unknown
I learned to say goodbye
Damned to follow all my dreams
I still don't know the reasons why, reasons why

The Circles go around (circles go around and round)

I was captured by nights lonely hands
It clings me to its breast
I struggle just to start again
‘round it goes, never ends, never ends

The Circles go around (circles go around and round)

Children play they never seem to care
They don't ask why
If I could see a moment through a child’s eyes
Through their eyes

(Spoken )keep hearing about these circles.. and they never stop..

I dreamt they took me to a land
I was held by little hands
They taught me secrets I once knew
About the heart and being true, being true

And the Circles go around (circles go around and round)

Better Every Day

Written By: Bill Champitto

You ask me why I’ve never written you a love song
What takes me all this time to sing about a love so strong
But words I write keep changing every day
Cause what it felt like yesterday
Don’t come close to our today

We met that cool September night. you said you knew right away
How could the timing be so right? It still amazed me today
Could not explain if I tried
But what stole my heart that day
Don’t come close to our today

Sometimes it takes a lifetime to tell a story
And when you smile, I lose track of days upon days
There ‘ain’t no song that could capture all love’s glory
And the world keeps getting better
Since the day you came my way

Life’s taken many turns to bring us to this place
And I’ve got you thank for this smile upon my face
And since you walked into my life
You know I mean it when I say
Keeps getting better every day

You brought the stars the moon back into my life
And there’s just one thing to say
I’m so glad you came my way

Jump with Me

Written By: Bill Champitto

The teacher sits before me says; how could you not know this day was gonna come
It’s a simple fact you can’t dispute,
all our time is measured with the sun
And the only choice you can make is the effort that you give
So you go in all or nothing and take pride in how you’ve lived

I’ve listened to the stories where; good people get rewarded in the end
Took a trip down to the water’s edge where the ocean and the sky became my friend
Life presents the challenge - and the choices never small -- There are
times when you’re brought to the edge & have to face the fall

And those that might jump with me are not with me like I thought
And though we live together alone is all we’ve got
All the courage that you showed me all the wisdom I had sought
Is all that I can claim from this battle that we fought

In the clear light of the morning; You have left this place to travel on your way
And of all the things left me; there’s a part of you that’s with me on this day
And when the world gets quiet and it seems that we’re alone
There lives in us a spirit of the people that we’ve known

And I know that you jump with me, you are with me like I thought
In light we live together, now together’s what we’ve got
All the courage that you gave me and the wisdom that I sought
Is what I will bring with me to this battle to be fought
---
Jump in with me
I know we can stay together
It’s the courage that you taught me and the wisdom that you brought
Lets me know that we’re together in this battle to be fought

Rigamaroll

Written By: Bill Champitto

I’ve been looking years to find a sound that I can live with
I checked out all the clubs uptown and down
and now I built this groove my friends and I Rigamaroll with
its time for you to hear me Lay it down

Now take it where you want it
If you got it you can flaunt it
I like it Rigamaroll

You Are Everything

Written By: Bill Champitto

You are everything; to me; You are everything
The air I breathe, every bite I need; You.

You’re the friendly smile in a strange place
The cool side of the pillow;
Riding downhill with no hands - Fast as I can.

Sunshine after Rain; Joy out of Pain; You, You,

Solos

A quick escape from a crowded place; Laughing ‘till it hurts;
knowing someone’s always got my back

You are everything; You are everything, you gotta know

A Better Way

Written By: Bill Champitto

Everybody’s got some place to go
You can cruise right past – or decide to take it slow
Because when you look around at all there is to see
You just might realize life’s possibility

The world keeps changing – not always for the good
and we have to say – we’ve done everything we could
only we posses the soul to find the way
to make tomorrow better than today

We’ve got to throw down… some love upon this world
And Take care of every woman, man, boy and girl
We’ve got to step up… make a difference on this day
We’ve got to find a better way

We only have so much time upon this earth
And even less time to figure out what its worth
We’re not to blame for every trouble known to man
But we have to make a change, any way we can

We’ve got to throw down… some love upon this world
And Take care of every woman, man, boy and girl
We’ve got to step up… make a difference on this day
We’ve got to find a better way

Silently She Calls my Name

Written By: Bill Champitto

She moves like water, on a moon lit night,
Shimmer of silk, the rhythm of flame,
and silently She calls my name

She lights the night, To a fire red sky
She burns so bright, and hot like flame,
then silently She calls my name

Traveling at the speed of light in slow motion
years between heart beats
Her silence makes you deaf
Not a spoken word
Barely take a breath

Intoxicating; Craving one last taste
She steals my breath, my eyes can’t see,
then silently She calls my name

She lights the night, To a fire red sky
She burns so bright, and hot like flame,
then silently She calls my name

silently she calls, silently

Strange Place

Written By: Bill Champitto

How’d I get here? I don’t understand.
What planet is this? Where the hell did I land?
I’m in a strange place. Hard luck has bounced me off the track.
But hard luck should know, how far I’ll go to get back.

There’s a fork in the road. What turn should I take?
It’s not looking good no matter which choice I make.
I’m in a strange place. Hard luck has bounced me off the track.
But hard luck should know, how far I’ll go to get back.

500 miles from sanity I won’t see it tonight.
Can’t get there alone it’s not a one man fight.
I’ve been here too long I’m in trouble no doubt.
But I know she’ll stay with me ‘till we fight our way out.

I’m in a strange place. Hard luck has bounced me off the track.
But hard luck should know, how far I’ll go to get back.

How’d I get here? I don’t understand.
What planet is this? Where the hell did I land?
I’m in a strange place. Hard luck has bounced me off the track.
But hard luck should know, how far I’ll go to get back.

You know me

Written By: Music and Lyrics by Bill Champitto

I feel you walk into mind
As a thought crosses my eyes
a gentle breeze that warms my skin
and my world has changed
its not the same

Just a single grain of sand
the days first glimpse of light
like just before a drop of rain. . . falls
my world has changed
its not the same

there’s a fragrance in your smile
and a sweet taste to your touch
there are lifetimes in your eyes, my soul is there
you know me, you know me

just an ordinary day
then a moment froze in time
just a glance toward your way
my world has changed
its not the same

there’s a fragrance in your smile
and a sweet taste to your touch
there are lifetimes in your eyes, my soul is there
you know me, you know me
