Bio
Bill Spry is an acoustic indie artist from Cincinnati, Ohio. His love for music began as a child & developed over the years. His tastes & talents have been developed by his experiences as a music lover, audio producer, radio DJ, filmmaker, and now, college fine arts student.
He has played in various Cincinnati-area bands, sharing the stages with such acts as Ghoti Hook, curbsquirrels, Cellophane Tomb, and the Beatles. His band Acrylic Warfare still plays the local college venues.
The music of Bill Spry is introspective in nature. Each song is written on its own, with no thoughts given to genre or audience. Each song is written to be complete in and of itself.
The first taste of this process is now available with his debut ep "A Period Piece". Only five songs in length, this albums jumps from a hard indie-rock to americana, complete with steel guitar. What holds the music together is the ever-present acoustic vibe, hiding under the feedback and displaying itself proudly when needed.
