Billy and The Kids Rockabilly Trio

Billy and The Kids is a Rockabilly Trio from Sweden, formed by lead singer/guitarist Stefan Billy Nilsson in 2000. He has been touring Scandinavia with  various rock'n'roll and rockabilly bands for more than 20 years. His former bands include Wreckless (Rockabilly), and Vince with The Peaktones (Rock'n'roll). Billy and The Kids Discography:

Old Dogs Can’t Sit (2007), Love Rocket (2011), I Want You (2013) and Dial My Number (2015 on El Toro Records, Spain). The last three albums were recorded and produced at Riff Hard Studios in Stallarholmen, Sweden and are available on Spotify. 

The music and influences are both Old School and New School Rockabilly, Rock’n’Roll and Rhythm’n’Blues. Half of the repertoire are original songs, written by Stefan Billy Nilsson. Inspiration and influences include Johnny Burnette, early Elvis, Gene Vincent, Ral Donner, Darrel Higham, Brian Setzer, Big Sandy, Eddie Cochran, Lemmy Kilmister, brown liquor and John Silver without filter!

Billy and The Kids are now constantly on tour in Norway, Sweden and Finland. In February 2017 they completed their first US tour. They played at Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion, AZ, The Kraken in Encinitas, CA, Rips Bar in Phoenix, AZ, Surly Wench Pub in Tucson, AZ, Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas, NV, and Original Mike's in Santa Ana, CA.

Billy and The Kids are returning to US in April 2018 for shows at Rips Bar in Phoenix, House of Bards in Tucson, Spirit Room in Jerome, Starlite Lounge in Glendale AZ, Original Mike's in Santa Ana, CA and Yucca Tap Room in Tempe AZ.
