billyclub {bil e club} A group of people most commonly known for pummeling the ear drums of unsuspecting nay-sayers and yay- sayers everywhere. In 2003 BILLYCLUB emerged from a foundation of elite musicians, whose goals and ideals were parallel....Within the musical constructs of an ever changing society, BILLYCLUB refuses to conform to any one genre. Their versatility and willingness to change the musical landscape, has set a new standard. In 2003 guitarist, Vernon Voss had a mind set on creating a musical project capable of delivering a swift kick to the ass of the local music scene....with that in mind he amassed a bevy of regional talent, qualified enough to suit his goals..... Bassist Bill Modica reunited with Voss. Their previous works together were quite promising, and the groundwork for the new project was forming quickly....Drummer, and local legend Billy Rios who was acquired via contract waivers, supplied the backbone, and tenacity that resulted in a perfect match for what BILLYCLUB needed to achieve. At this juncture, more than patience and persistance would be required to complete this line-up...Complicated by the extreme diversities and vocal requirements needed to complete this project, Voss, Modica, and Rios contacted the only man capable of the task at hand. Billy Reeves a.k.a. "BILLY BITCH" ... multi-talented musician/singer known for his surly demeanor, and his ability to chain smoke while singing, Billy was given the nod and the union known as BILLYCLUB was formed. Outside of lifes everyday achievments, sometimes an energy vent is needed to release the frustration and doldrums of domestic life as we know it....Some people play golf, shoot darts, play pool...etc...etc...BILLYCLUB plays kick ass rock and roll!.....and we love every minute of it.....we hope you love it too!
