Billy Crompton

Billy Crompton

BandFolkAcoustic

It's a solo, acoustic singer/songwriter project... So far, it's a one man show, and it doesn't suck.

Biography

After riding shotgun with dozens of bands as a bass player in Cleveland, OH, Billy Crompton has decided to get behind the wheel and drive. Billy made his acoustic debut at a songwriter in the round night at the Town Fryer in Cleveland on a cold night in December of '06, and he hasn't looked back since. His musical adventures have led him to Austin, TX where he intends to continue his pursuit of the 'transcendental groove'.

Drawing from a deep well of influences, Billy's tunes are written from a personal perspective. Tunes such as 'Sparkles', 'Old Black Packard', and 'Better Now' pull the listener in and give them a reason to come back for more.

Billy Crompton uses his years of experience on the stage as a bass player to deliver a raw, real performance. Billy is able to bridge the gap between performer and audience in order to give the crowd something they can relate to.

You don't want to miss this.
