Georgia native Billy Lowe is a classically trained pianist and singer/songwriter having written hundreds of songs over the years. Growing up the "son of a preacher man" Lowe played piano and sang in his family's churches since the age of 9, and studied classical piano performance ranking him 3rd and 4th in the state of GA as a teen. From there he attended Asbury College for their music program and finished his education with a BA in Education, and toured the states with music troops during his 4 years of studies.
Lowe moved to Los Angeles in the late 90's when his material and sounds were spotted by MCA Records. People say his sound is "Christine Perri meets Elton John." Soft wistful sounds and memorable melodies with brilliant story writing.
