"Billz - Ya Boy Fooling Mixtape Review"

This young upcoming 18yr old rapper Billz, already has his own label, True Talent Never Dies Entertainment. Best watch out. Billz – Ya Boy Fooling mixtape – is hard hittin right off the start with ‘My Bars’. For Billz first mixtape, this is definately a jamming joint. Mixing beats from various producers, some well known like Johnny Juliano, and some not so well known producers is always a good choice for your first mixtape. You get a first listen to his voice without effects on ‘Goin Hard’. Lyrically Billz is great explaining his struggles in the game. In ‘Sick Flow’ you can tell he’s feeling more confidence in front of the microphone. ‘Green’ & ‘Check My Resume’ are probably going to be my favorite tracks on this mixtape, very well put together. This mixtape has a little bit fun for everyone, with the mix of producers on this mixtape. You’ll find you’ll like something, like he says ‘Check My Resume’. You know I’m big on the money tracks, so at the end of the day, ‘I Got Money’ or B&B would be the tracks I would put on one of my Coast2Coast mixes. Jump on the mixconnect and check this one out. Watch for True Talent Never Dies Ent. Billz and his feature artists in the future! He has some room to grow but he’s got his team up! Watch for music coming out of his camp! - DJ Bankrupt

Bio

Billy Helms is a 19 year old recording artist and CEO of the Brandon, FL based record label True Talent Never Dies Entertainment and the publishing company True Talent Never Dies Publishing. Lyrically the Father of the New School as he calls himself in his song Green has spoken about many topics from the usual money, cars, and partying to his real life story, business and relationships. His ability to freestyle both his verses and hooks has led to some of his songs being created in just a matter of minutes without much editing necessary. It is not a practice he does as often now, but he combines writing and freestyles to create singles. Seeking to improve lyrically and broaden his genre, Helms now listen to a lot of old school lyricists as well as the hottest artist of today. In addition to being a rapper and singer, he is a published poet which he finds to be a major advantage when it comes to song writing. Helms has a great appreciation for all music and seeks everyday to learn more about the past of the industry so he knows how to manage his roster in the future. Recently Helms finished his second mixtape entitled The Story of my Purple Pen which features the "Dual Threat", his singing alter ego who might make some question why he isn't a singer full-time. His first effort Ya Boy Fooling received over 1600 listens on mixconnect.com.
