BINARY AUDIO MISFITS is the fruit of a musical meeting on Myspace between two highly original genres from different worlds: the French rock group Expérience (Toulouse, France) and the Texan rap collective The Word Association' (San Marcos, Texas).
Fall 2007, the French invite the Americans to sing on one of their tracks and the result is so exciting that they decide to continue the collaboration! After an exchange of audio files over the Internet they finally meet late 2007 during the recording of Expérience's fourth album at Steve Albini's Electrical Studio, Chicago. And so BINARY AUDIO MISFITS, is born and a live set developed.
Expérience has never sounded so Hip Hop and The Word Association has never seemed so close to the Rock genre.
BAM! their first collaborative album will be released early 2009 on the indie label Dora Dorovitch !
Theyre gonna play at SXSW 2009 and a French tour is planned for February 2009

Expérience is a French rock band (founded in Toulouse, 2000) that mixes rock and hip-hop influences, loud guitars, cascading beats, unexpected samples and
half-sung, half-rapped vocals with incisive French lyrics.
They have released four LPs: Aujourdhui, Maintenant (Lithium/EMI/2001), Hémisphère Gauche (Labels/EMI/2004), the double cd/dvd Positive Karaoké With A Gun/Negative Karaoké With A Smile (Boxson/Discograph/2005) and Nous (en) Sommes Encore là (Boxson/2008), The band has played more than 150 shows in across Europe and Russia.

The Word Association is a visionary and highly creative Hip-Hop group based between San Marcos and Austin in Texas. Since 2002, they have released two albums ST in 2002 and Lucid in 2007 on the independent label, Collage Records, and are widely represented with tours across the USA.
