There are few times one feels like listening to an album over and over again and make it a day’s leitmotiv. That’s the case with Biorn Borg’s debut album. - Dinediciones

Discography

“Todo Se Destroza” (Everything falls apart) was recorded in 2008 at Sisostenido Studios in Ecuador and officially released in 2009. It consists on twelve vibrant, solid tracks that go from fast upbeat rhythms to profound epic ballads, all of which share Biorn Borg’s characteristic sound. The lyrics go around the everyday’s problems of a normal (neurotic) person with a dark, biting sense of humor. The record was co-produced by Biorn Borg and Dean Baltulonis, a New York based producer. Baltulonis then mixed it at Wild Artic Studios in New York City. Dave Gardner at Magneto Mastering then mastered it. The record has caused a major impact in the music circuit in Ecuador.

Bio

Biorn Borg takes it’s name from the six-time French Open champion tennis player with a small change in spelling to avoid legal conflicts. The band was born in 2007 with the idea of rocking forward with a straight face. Rock, Grunge and Punk influence Biorn Borg’s music. Some have labeled them as post-punk and new wave, others say it is Garage or Indie Rock, yet to most their genre is still hard to define. This reflects their influences are broad and their music responds to creativity alone rather than copying current trends. Their lyrics are direct, provocative and full of urban poetry. Their live act emphasizes a powerful and polished sound with an electrifying feel, no one stands still in front of a BB show. In their few years they have grown to be one of the most influential bands in Ecuador.
