GRAVITY

Written By: ANTHONY MCMAHON/RHODA MACKENZIE

Well gravity says, we must stay on the ground
For if something goes up, it must surely come down
Thought this world was so square, now they’re saying its round

Ah well who cares
Who cares
Who cares
Who cares

Well one man arrived and the other left town
‘Cos one man stood up and the other backed down
Once friendship is lost it can never be found

Ah well who cares
Who cares
Who cares
Who cares

We walk on the ground and then we lie down
First six feet above then six feet underground
We’re born with a scream then we die without sound

Ah well who cares
Who cares
Who cares
Who cares

Thought this world was so square
Thought this world was so square
Thought this world was so square

Ah well who cares
Who cares
Who cares
No-one cares

THE FORTUNE TELLER

Written By: ANTHONY MCMAHON/RHODA MACKENZIE

A fortune teller once told me
Never to look to the past
Whilst gazing upon my future
She’d seen her own face in the glass

And she was right, she was right
And it kept me awake half the night

Of all the things that she’d seen
Not even one word was spoken
She’d been living her life in a dream
Just trying to keep her mind open

She’d seen broken dreams
From life’s long running streams
Walked mountain paths
Laced with broken glass

And she was right, she was right
And it kept me awake half the night

Of all the things that she’d seen
Not even one word was spoken
She’d been living her life in a dream
Just trying to keep her mind open

And she was right, she was right
And it kept me awake half the night

She was right
She was right
She was right

LEAVE ME ALONE

Written By: MCMAHON/MACKENZIE

Leave me alone
I don’t need your permission
Give me the space
To follow my vision

Chorus

Don’t judge me
My life is my own
Don’t question my mind
Leave me alone

I’ll follow my dreams
And sing my own song
There’s no room for two
I can’t take you along

Repeat chorus

You just can’t see
You’re no good for me
So please
Set me free

Leave me alone
Don’t tie my wings
Don’t hold me down
With your diamonds and rings

Repeat chorus

Leave me alone
Leave me alone
Oh just leave me alone
