The brains (and ears) behind birdfeeder is Grant Johnson, who has spent over a decade playing a writing music on guitar, piano, ukulele, and most recently, cello. In recent years, while studying Electroacoustic Composition part-time at the University of Florida, he has been building an arsenal of experimental electronics and has invented many small, noise making instruments.

Birdfeeder is the combination of experience with traditional songwriting approaches and a newfound passion for experimental electronic music. The end result is music that is technically adept, original, and outright danceable.
