Birds thru Blinds is a rock band that formed in Los Angeles, CA in 2014.  The two founding members, Keaton Rogers and Julian Rios, met while getting in trouble in high school together at Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks.  Keaton eventually got kicked out from there, but the two stayed in touch and were in several projects with each other until  they decided to focus their efforts on Birds thru Blinds after both arriving back to Los Angeles after traveling for college. They are the guitar players and lead singers of the band, and Julian credits Keaton for teaching him how to play guitar back when they were playing rock music in high school. When Kacey Greenwood, Keaton's younger brother, and Ryan Weiss, Kacey's best friend from high school, joined the band (Kacey on  drums, and Ryan on bass) things really came together in a big way, and the band has been off and running, playing more shows, doing more recording, and everything else band and music  related.
They pull from many influences from many eras to create their style of music (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Third  Eye Blind, Incubus, The Foo Fighters, Blink 182 and the list goes on) while bringing their quarky personalities and a  sense of humor to the process, as well as the stage, to keep it fun.  They look to keep moving forward, playing more  shows, making more appearances, and are currently working on songs for their second album (Their first album is self  titled and available on Spotify and iTunes, as well as Bandcamp and Soundcloud.) They are also in production on a  web series that documents their journey as a band, titled, "Behind the Blinds with Birds thru Blinds."  This is a band that is ready and hungry to get their music and their voice to a bigger audience, and they eagerly await any opportunites headed their way.
