Bio
Sweethearts Alison and Wil play vintage pop and originals with a folk-jazz vibe . They’re inspired by popular music from the first half of the 20th century such as 1920′s blues, 1930′s jazz, black and white musicals, folk, and early country. Alison Marae plays a sweet ukulele, sings a Billie Holiday inspired vocal and taps a rhythm soft shoe. Wil Forbis plays a mean lead acoustic guitar, has a Cab Calloway scat, and croons a jazzy melody. Together they make sweet harmony.
