Birgit stated singing and song writing just a few short years ago…She is a two time BC Festival of Arts Delegate for songwriters who “show promise for a professional career”. Her original songs have been featured on several compilation CD’s and film sound tracks. She was invited to sing back up by Chloe Goodchild, artistic director for Vday 2001, Madison Square Gardens New York City in 2001.
Birgit has shared the stage/recorded with may of Canada’s top artists including Susan Agulukark, Valdy, Shari Ulrich, and Mae Moore. She has performed; Vancouver’s Railway Club, Denver Colorado’s Sweet Rockin’ Café, Blue Bird North, Filberg Festival, VI Music Festival and Filberg Festival…just to name a few.
