Bio

It is hard to put into words the inner workings of a band like ours. The three of us have been friends for about ten years now, although we've been a band for only the past two. Our incorporation came about as we jointly witnessed the demise of the great musical revolution that took place from the late 80's through the 90's and lamented the direction that the industry was going in. It seemed that damn few people were writing songs for us anymore. So we decided to do something about it and write our own. Even though we individually come from very different musical backgrounds, the passion and what drives us to write together is the same. In these past years that we've been playing together, we've seen bands come and go. But the ones that have stuck around are the ones not trying to just color by numbers. The ones we've grown to know and respect are the ones blazing their own trails, regardless of the status quo. And that's where we see ourselves and how we hope to continue on. There are no egos in this band...only a pride that pushes to make the sum of the parts as good as it can be and to stay true to our vision. We look back on our musical heroes like Mission of Burma, Husker Du, Jawbreaker, The Minutemen, and Shellac for inspiration only in the form of encouragement that they were able to go against the grain in their day and time and succeed.
