Biscuit Miller and The Mix

 Naperville, Illinois, USA

Biscuit Miller and the Mix delight audiences everywhere with an energetic and dazzling performance. Biscuit's signature smile will captivate any audience and together with his crew they become a cohesive blend of energy and talent.

Dave Miller was nicknamed "Biscuit" by his Grandmother, when as a child, he ate a whole pan of her homemade biscuits she had just baked. The name Biscuit has stuck with him ever since that time.
At 11 years old, he discovered the bass while visiting a friend and decided to "check it out". He was taught how to play bass by his friend's older brother and it became his passion.
He formed his own band with his cousin, moving to Minneapolis in 1982. He was later hooked up with Sonny Rogers recording "They Call Me Cat Daddy", which won Sonny a Handy award for best new artist.
His resume includes a stint with Lonnie Brooks for 10 years, played at President Clinton's inauguration, and performed with Muddy Waters. He joined the Anthony Gomes band, recording 5 CDs and touring 250 shows per year in the U.S. and overseas.
Fronting a band has been his life-long dream and it has come to fruition with his band Biscuit Miller and The Mix. Averaging nearly 200 gigs per year, their hard work has paid off with a new CD release of "Blues with a Smile" presently hitting the Blues chart at number 5.
Please take the time to view our press kit and you will be convinced that they will provide a dynamic performance.
