- Notorious B.I.G., "Things Done Changed”, Ready to Die
10 years ago, a time when only New York and Los Angeles were the only two cities believed to spawn all kinds of rap talent, four young men - Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy and Wish better known as Bone Thugs N Harmony would put Cleveland on the map and introduce a new style of rap on an unsuspecting Hip Hop public.
During the 90's, the group's 4 albums would earn them critical acclaim and millions of record. As we entered the new millennium, the group began recording solo projects but the fans craved more from the group as a unit. In 2002, before the release of their fifth album Thug World Order fans were shocked to learn that Bizzy Bone was kicked out of the group. He wasn't featured in the video of their first single "Home" with Phil Collins, he wasn't on the tour but yet he was all over the album!!
Rumors began circulating that Bizzy was heavy into drugs and when he passed out on stage, the group had had enough and kicked him out!
How could they? Many people wondered. "I thought they were a tight unit?" some said while devoted fans believed "Bizzy will straighten himself out and I'm sure they got love for him, everything will be back to normal soon".
It's late 2004 and a few weeks ago Bone Thugs were on tour and guess what? Bizzy wasn't with them. With a new album and movie about to drop in a few weeks through his 7th Sign Records...yours truly was blessed with the chance to talk to the charismatic and the eccentric Bizzy Bone who took time out of a very important family event to talk about Bone Thugs, Hip Hop, life and his upcoming projects:

Bio
Bizzy The Kid Bone
Bryon Anthony McCane aka Bizzy Bone, Bizzy "The Kid" and Gambini, needs no introduction. Most remember him from the Hip Hop mega group Bone Thugs 'n'
Harmony. In 1992 "BTNH" then known as BONE Enterprise produced an independent
album entitled "Faces of Death". With that Bizzy Bone and the rest of Bone Enterprise
purchased one way bus tickets to Los Angeles to "make it big", and make it big they did.
Nine months and a 6.6 earthquake later Bizzy's dream came true after receiving a phone
call from Easy-E, the infamous father of West Coast Hip Hop. After a few meetings and
fate, Bizzy and the rest of BONE Enterprise started to record under the name Bone
Thugs 'n' Harmony signing with Ruthless Records/Sony. Amidst the death of founding
father Easy-E, Bizzy Bone managed to record over 20 albums with Ruthless, seven of
which were released worldwide.
In 1996 Bizzy decided it was time to start his own label. 7th sign Films/Records
was born with the vision of Bizzy Bone being an artist signed to a lable that he owned.
Through all of his struggle Bizzy has remained humble consistantly donating of himself
to his community. Charity work is something that Bizzy truely enjoys. Bizzy has recieved
countless awards including an NAACP Image Award, A Holiday, and a Certificate of
recognition from the Governor (Bob Taft), Mayor, and the Ohio House of
representatives. Bizzy Bone has also recieved a GRAMMY, American Music Award,
and an ASCAP award.
In 2002 Bizzy appeared on Americas Most Wanted, telling the story of how he
was abducted and abused, sharing with the world what he has been through and
furthering his commitment to freedom of expression and betterment of self. Credited with
7 group albums and selling over 30 million records Bizzy is constantly growing. With two
solo albums under his belt, Heavens Movie (Relativity Records) with sales in excess of
900,000 and climbing, and The Gift (AMC) selling over 400,000. Bizzy is releasing his
third installation, Alpha & Omega the music and the film. Finally showing he is here to
stay. Along with authoring several books and recording over 2000 songs Bizzy The
Kid Bone has much more fuel in his 27-year-old body.
Beginning in the industry at 15 years old Bizzy has learned to take control of his
career before it is to late. With his label putting out his third solo album Bizzy Bone is
continuing his career moving towards success as, the owner, the man, the leader, the
musician, the author, the father, the brother, the friend, the one & only, Bizzy The Kid
Bone.
As Bizzy always says
