I wrote 2 songs in the early 80's and the record was sold to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy. A side "My friends son" B side Country Music friends. on the Emblem label.

The song Country friends was written to thank every country fan for their assistance in a Charity walk I accomplished in the late 70's from Glasgow to London I raised over £3000 for the Seeing Eye dog association.

My Mom sang with the first "Country band" in Glasgow called "Big Bill Campbell and his Rocky Mountain Rythm in the 1940/50's. Her direct influence drew me to the very genuine sound of Country. Throughout the years people like Haggard, Cash, Jennings have shaped my style of singing and song writing. The songs come from true life and often tell "it how it is". Life is full of many obstacles and to sing or write country you have to live through the hard times. I am totally blind and have a sense of the world that doesn't rely on sight. No pre-judgements of any kind.

Country music is very special to me and my dedication to keeping traditional Country music alive is second to none. For 10 years I presented my own Hospital Country show and was resident DJ in Glasgows Grande Olde Oprey where I sang regularly and raised thousands of dollars for local Charities.

It is nice to help others and even nicer if the words of my songs can reach in and give someone hope, to let them know tey are not alone in the world with their problems.
