During a concert of The BJ Stewart Band I was impressed by the sincerity of their worship and praise to God. Because this band gave more than a concert, they allowed the Holy Spirit to flow through them, right to us, the audience. At one point, BJ sang a solo and it was a beautiful song of love to the Lord. I cried, for the pure love that he felt for the Lord was there in that song for all the world to see. What an awesome witness!

We're a group of goofy guys who are only serious when we have to be. We believe that God wants us to enjoy life while serving Him. We love to meet people. We don't claim to be outstanding musicians, or even really good musicians for that matter. We love to pour out our hearts before Almighty God through the singing of His praises, and we love to lead others in doing that as well. We believe that worship isn't singing your favorite song or listening to your favorite band. We believe that worship isn't just something we do when we gather together at church or any other corporate setting. Worship is a lifestyle, not a "song style". God isn't interested in the type of songs we sing as He is in the condition of our hearts. If our lives don't glorify God, our songs won't either. We find joy in the reading of His Holy and Perfect Word. We believe there is no greater reason to play music, or do anything for that matter, than to do so for His glory. We desire to use all our efforts to make God famous. We are overjoyed in knowing that despite our inadequacies and imperfections, God is still willing and able to use us. We're not wannabe rockstars, thus, we desire to be approachable and not just seen when we're on stage. We want people to know that just because we have the ability to get on stage and sing does not mean we are super Christians. We're just as normal as anyone else. We believe that facial hair is an art that should be expressed. We believe that reality TV makes people dumber, and that allowing your children to watch the Wiggles should be considered child abuse (please don't think less of us if your children watch the Wiggles). We love watching King of the Hill (yeah...we know...it's only a step or two above the Wiggles. Again...please don't think less of us). We believe that Napoleon Dynamite is one of the funniest movies ever made, yet we can't figure out why. We love eating at IHOP and believe there should be one on every street corner in America. We believe that God is good, His mercies are new every morning, His love is unconditional and everlasting, and THAT is worth singing about.
