""Number One Fans of Brian Wallen""

Jackie Wesley, Western Wayne News

“Brian is a self taught multi-instrument player, nine to be exact which includes banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, piano plus others, and he also writes and produces his multi-track CD’s in his own personal recording studio. He played last June with his former band members on the plaza at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, and I’m told they received a nice standing ovation!

Wallen writes his songs and music from the heart, but he gives all the glory to God for his many talents. He plays a variety of bluegrass, gospel, contemporary, country, or just about any thing you can request. My husband Ron and I are self proclaimed, ‘number one’ fans of his.” - Western Wayne News

""An Amazing, Prodigous Talent""

Peter Clitheroe, Suffolk n’ Cool, Suffolk, UK

Song Review of Caroline

“If you’ve been around as long as me, you may be able to cast your mind back, at least in the UK, to a guy called Michael Chapman, who’s still going strong, and who is just the most amazing guitarist. He inspired me total with his guitar playing. Take a listen to this, and tell me how many years of experience you think Brian Wallen has under his belt? [Song Plays]

What do you reckon? How long? I’ll tell you that he’s a very busy singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with six albums to his credit, playing 100 shows a year, with a unique sound all of his own. He plays 10 instruments, having picked up his first guitar, six years ago, when he was aged ten. Incredible, isn’t it? …an amazing, prodigious talent. - Suffolk n' Cool

Brian Keith Wallen is on the road all the time. From one coast to another, Brian is spreading his brand of alternative blues across the country. His lightning licks on guitar will never let you forget his name. In just a few years, Brian has released five albums and performed over 1,000 shows in 17 states. iSpy Cincy writes, "His raw passionate sound encompasses the blues soul with perfection."

Brian placed 2nd in the 2015 International Blues Challenge, ranking in the top two out of hundreds of blues artists from all over the world. He is also the winner of the Star-Gennett Blues Artist of the Year award, the Cincy Blues Challenge, and the Dayton Blues Challenge.

Incorporating elements of blues, rock, bluegrass, and folk, Brian has brought his foot-stomping, one-man-band show to timeless treasures, such as Dollywood and the Ryman Auditorium. He's also taken it all the way to countless blues festivals and the one and only Beale Street. "The artists that I love bring energy and soul to their music," Brian says. "They put it all out there, and it's real. I aspire to get to that level, and every performance is an opportunity."
