Black Bone Exorcism

Seattle, WA based Black Bone Exorcism successfully create a visceral experience via intense, heavy, and dark music, specifically to showcase what they have experienced with the world today.  With rage filled distorted guitar onslaughts, tribal rhythms that hypnotize, and melancholy and somber interludes, Black Bone Exorcism’s goal is to create chaos to break violently through the mediocrity of today’s mainstream heavy music scene and into a new world with fresh, open eyes. 

Members Dave Kron (Guitars/Vocals/Primary Song Writer/Visuals), Keith Greer (Percussion), Brandon Wilder (Guitars/Ambient Landscapes/Samples), and Mike Lee (Bass) have taken over the past three years to craft, hone, and create what is seen by most as the next level of heavy music.

Black Bone Exorcism has been compared to Electric Wizard, Godflesh, Neurosis, and ISIS, among other similar darker bands.  However, the consistent message they’ve received from their peers and fans is that they cannot pin down whom they sound like.  Genres like Heavy, dark rock, Gothic Sludge Metal, Doom Metal, and even a new form of Progressive Black Metal are evoked.  With crushing riffs, thunderous drums and bass, emotionally disturbing sampling, and creative ambient landscaping, they push the boundaries of what their vision of dystopia is through dark, heavy, and mind-altering music.

Their work has landed them gigs with the likes of Scott Kelly and the Road Home, Karma to Burn, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth, and Heiress, among other signed, touring acts in a relatively short amount of time playing local Seattle clubs.
