Black Bean Sauce are a Guitar and Ukulele duo who perform original comedy songs along with alternative versions of covers such as a Russian Polka version of I Will Survive. The duo have been described as having an almost sureal style of comedy with their music fitting in with that of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Heyseed Dixie and Flight of the concords.
Black Bean Sauce met whilst studying on an access to music course in Scarborough. They began performing around the local area in March 2011 and have gone from strength to strength since.
The duo are regular performers at many of Scarborough's music venues, pubs and festivals and have also travelled across Yorkshire playing at various events and venues. Audiences are always impressed by the energy, uniqueness and sheer entertainment of the duo's live shows.
The Duo have a busy performance schedule playing up to four gigs a week and when not performing they are working on new material whether it be repertoire or part of the show.
