Blackburn Court was born on the West Coast in Vallejo, Ca. At a very young age music surrounded his every move. At 11 Blackburn was constantly singing and playing keyboards in the church in which he was reared. His loving family and observant friends stated that while Blackburn performed there was a warmth and love for music that exuded from him. Those complements did not fully register with Blackburn at this impressionable age, however as he grew older this astonishing artist became fully aware of the feeling and the passion as he performed. This uncanny energy flowed from his voice and fingers naturally.

Blackburn Court is a very grateful artist. He believes that his singing acumen is a gift from God. As he sings, the expression of love and gratitude for the people that mean the most in his life are clearly expressed in the lyrics. This type of mindset sets the groundwork for many of his songs. Furthermore, Blackburn’s songs tell a story that takes the listener on a journey dealing with everyday trials, adversities, and setbacks but the end result will be victory provided the individual is strong and resilient until the end.
