What do you get when you combine construction workers, a college student, a truck driver, and a lawn & garden assembler to make music? You get Blackburn Road, a rockin' christian band from the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Blackburn Road was founded when Alex Clark, who previously recorded in Nashville on the Christian Country circuit wanted to get something going after being inspired by Third Day, Kutlass, Jeremy Camp, and many more. He hooked up with Corby White who had previously played in bands in the local area and they started banging a few things out. Enter Seth Howard who impressed Alex and Corby with his skills on the bass guitar at the young age of eighteen. Seth was the perfect addition. After searching for a drummer who made a good fit, they found Chris Haines who wowed them with his amazing solos and the foursome started playing a few local shows. While Corby White was preparing for a trip overseas, the band tried out another guitar player , Dave Boyce, that they had heard about to fill in for Corby while he was gone, and to add a distinctive sound as an additional instrument when Corby returned. The band, soon found they were opening for Echoing Angels and Aaron Shust and rocking many local shows in between. The local shows keep them busy and they are continuously working on new music while striving to get some attention from a broader audience. When Blackburn Road hits the stage, people of all ages stop to stare and soon listen and worship along with them.
