Everyone has a story to tell and so does Black Casper. Black Casper also known as BC was born in Rosedale, NY as Damien Haynes by two parents from Jamaica, W.I. Growing up in Queens, NY Black Casper didnt have a dollar to his name. With both of his parents working more than 12 hours a day he didnt really have much to do or anyone to teach him anything so he learned the ways of the world on his own. At the age of 15 Black Casper discovered his passion for music when he and a childhood friend decided to form their own group with a couple of other friends. At first BC was a behind the scenes type of guy mainly helping other people in the group and helping with production work. But he would always have a notebook with rhymes as he practiced and built his skills and lyrical ability. Unfortunately, the whole group didnt see eye to eye and certain people felt like they were better than the others. BC decided to branch out and started his solo journey at the age of 19. Still not having much to his name and barely any guidance BC started to turn to the one place he knew the streets. Hustling from here and there and also working a regular job to make a couple of dollars BC was able to get enough money to buy his own studio equipment and get to work. Once he bought his equipment he started working on his first project entitled Blackout. With certain connections he was able to work at Hall of Fame Studio in South Jamaica, NY and his home equipment he was able to put out his first two singles Scream At Me and Love vs. Pain Ft. Honey Rose. He made his dream of putting out his first mixtape a reality in May of 2012. After more networking BC was able to find another home with the producers at Brown Sugar Studios in New York, NY. Now with the help and information of two studios and his home equipment His first single Grind is currently out. BC is working on his second mixtape entitled Audio Crack which will be released in May of 2013.
